Sands China Ltd. to Spread Love on Valentine’s Day at Sands Cotai Central

 (Macao, February 13, 2013) – In celebration of the Valentine’s Day and as part of its long-term effort to support the local community, Sand China Ltd. has purchased handmade flowers from the Macau Association of the Parents of the Mentally Handicapped, and will present them as gifts to diners at Sands Cotai Central Thursday, to fill the air with romance and spread the love on this special day.

Flowers made of soaps by the association’s members will be distributed to the female customers during dinning hours at Dynasty 8, Grand Orbit and Do Mar restaurants at Sands Cotai Central this Valentine’s Day, offering a pleasant and heartfelt surprise to the guests while enjoying an intimate dinner with their beloved ones.

Sands China has a long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility and is devoted to engaging the local community and supporting charitable causes. The Macau Association of the Parents of the Mentally Handicapped is a non-profit organisation founded in 1992 by a group of parents whose children have intellectual disabilities. The association provides support and care to its members through a variety of activities, family visits and counselling services.
