celebrates the creation of two instant millionaires! The first hit the jackpot
in the Grand Draw Giveaway $1 Million Everyday (Super Edition); the second
struck gold and millionaire status less than twenty-four hours later in the
Ride to a Million promotion, designed specially for passengers traveling to
Sands Macao using Sands’ extensive bus network.
To
celebrate the Year of the Pig, Venetian Macau Limited (“VML”) held a lucky draw
for the members of the Sands Club and the Ruby Club. The Giveaway $1 Million Everyday (Super
Edition) opened on 31st December 2006, when each of the participants
received one free ticket a day and a lucky draw ticket for every three points
acquired from slot machines/table games.
The Grand Draw was held on 25th February 2007 at 9:30pm and 9
winners were drawn, 8 of whom received a cash prize of HK$ 8,888 each and the
ultimate winner for the Grand Prize won HK$1,000,000. In addition, all 9 winners also received a
big “Red Packet” (Lai See) of HK$10,000 cash.
The
second millionaire, Mr. Chan, arrived at Sands Macao by Sands bus at 3:30pm
today with a Ride to a Million ticket and immediately he got lucky. “It’s like dreaming,” Mr. Chan said, “I am so
very happy and I feel that I am really lucky!”
The Ride to a Million is an on-going promotion for slot machines that
started on 1st August 2006, where thousands of tickets have been
given to guests who come to the Sands property by Sands buses. Over the past months there have been many
winners of generous cash prizes and food vouchers, and the big winner was made
an instant millionaires earlier today.
